Machine capability

Machine capability is related to a single characteristic and determined from the relationship between the variation in operation of the production equipment and the tolerance range. Recording and evaluation generally follow mathematical / statistical methods, whereby only short-term variation is considered, as far as possible excluding factors which influence the process but are machine-independent.
