Cleanliness room

Room containing fixed installations which contributes towards the maintenance of the Technical Cleanliness of a product through appropriate design and the implementation of regulations regarding staff, logistics, care and manufacturing processes.

In VDA Volume 19 Part 2, a cleanliness room is classified as a clean area with a cleanliness grade (CG) of 2.
