Cleanliness zone
Partitioned area which, through appropriate design and implementation of regulations with regard to staff, logistics, care and manufacturing processes, contributes towards maintaining the Technical Cleanliness of a product.
In VDA Volume 19 Part 2, a cleanliness zone is classified as a clean area with a cleanliness grade (CG) of 1.
