Risk assessment

Contains a risk analysis along the lines of IATF 16949 plus an assessment of the effects on the part of the organization and the customer. (see VDA volume 2)



Risks must be foreseen and estimated (from the probability of occurrence and the extent of the damage, often expressed in terms of possible costs). Technical, economic, political and socio-cultural risks must be taken into account. (see VDA volume 11)
