FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
The aim of the FMEA is to identify potential error sources/weak points and the resulting error consequences early on in the product development process as part of a methodical risk analysis and to initiate measures to avoid them.
The FMEA method prioritizes possible errors according to the criteria "importance for the customer"/"probability of occurrence"/"probability of detection".
