Verified measuring equipment

Verified measuring equipment is measuring equipment on which lower requirements are placed with regard to the monitoring of inspection equipment. In order to classify an item of measuring equipment as verified, it is necessary to conduct a risk assessment. This is done in order to confirm that the verified measuring equipment is used for characteristics which are of little relevance to the quality of the final product.
