Cancellation of a certificate
An action, not a sanction, taken by the certification body to invalidate a certificate for the following reasons:
• surveillance or recertification audit timing is exceeded, except in the case of a transfer audit
• commercial disputes with the client
• the client or the certification body requests the termination of the certification contract
• the client location no longer exists
• the client no longer manufactures automotive products
• the client is not able to demonstrate evidence of ongoing automotive manufacturing occurring within the allowable interval timing.
