Certification decision
The act of a certification body technical reviewer making a positive or negative decision about a client’s certification status.
Positive certification decisions include the granting, continuance, or reinstatement of certification.
Negative certification decisions include not granting (denying) certification, suspending certification, or withdrawing certification. Certification decisions correspond with certificate or letter of conformance statuses in the IATF Database.
